The French in GreeceA French Military Commission has been appointed to undertake the re-orga-nisation of the Greek army, and its members will shortly proceed to Athens to commence their duties. BERLIN, April 22. England, Russia, and China. It is reported that England intends increasing the British fleet in the China Seas, which it is believed will he the means of averting war between Russia and China. CALCUTTA, July 22. Afghan Affairs. A durbar was held to-day, at which it was announced that the British Government would recognise the Amoorahip of Abdur Rahman at Candahar.
