Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY - , JULY 20.

For Otago, Tasmania, and Australian Colonies, per Tararua, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters at 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern porta and Australian colonies (except Tasmania), per Wakatipu, at 7 p.m. Guard’s van must not bo used for this mail. THURSDAY, JULY 22, For Northern ports, per Eiugarooma.

The next mail outwards via Bnndisi will close at Christchurch at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, 28th July. Mail will bo duo in London on 18th September.
