The Australian Eleven. The match between the Australians aud the Leicestershire County team at Leicester was continued to-day. The Australian team in their second innings when the stumps were drawn had lost seven wickets for 200 runs. The match was drawn, the Australians having three wickets to fall. Murdoch was bowled after making 73 runs. The Russian HarvestIt is expected that there will bo a deficiency in the Russian harvest amounting to 9,750,000 quarters. ShippingArrived —Ships Salamanca, Padishah, and Buttermero from Lyttelton. CALCUTTA, July 14. Afghan Affairs. Intelligence has been received from Afghanistan that Ayoub Khan, Governor of Herat, who left that city recently with a strong force, for the purpose of attacking Caudahar, has arrived at Forrah and resumed his march towards Gandahar. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 13. The Porte. The Porte continues to taka steps to offer an armed resistance to any attempts that may bo made to enforce the decision of the Berlin Conference, and for that purpose Turkish troops are being massed at Adrianoplo, Salouica, Yolo Prevesa, and Thessaly. Gallipoli, in the Dardanelles, moreover, is being strongly fortified.
