INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.

Intending exhibitors ore requested to send in their exhibits to the drillshed as early as possible to-day. The shed is now in the hands of carpenters, who are making necessary alterations and fixings. The broad asphalt pavement has been boarded in and will be mainly devoted to the display of locally manufactured vehicles, a portion being reserved for refreshment purposes. The main building will have its sombre interior changed to brilliancy, the roof being covered with flags and festoons, the walls with paintings and works of art, the tables at each side and centre heaped with articles of local product and interest, and the whole shown to advantage under a dazzling gas-light. Drawing-rooms are to bo placed at one end and an elevated platform for the band. The gun shod is reserved for an exhibition of machinery in motion, used in the manufacture of local products.
