Mails olose at tho Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) aB under : FBIDAY, JULY 9. For Akaroa and Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.25 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.35 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Tui, at 4.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m. ; guard's van, 525 p.m. train. SATUEDAT, JULY 10. For Northern Ports, per Wellington, at7p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on July 17, and will bo due in London on August 31. Notice. —The Post Office at Aylesbury is closed from 6th instant. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
