MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY, JULY 6. For Northern ports, per Hawea, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. THURSDAY, JULY 8. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Eotomnhana, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern porta and Chatham Islands (to connect with Omaha at Auckland) per Tararna. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on July 17. and will bo due in London on August 31, Notice.— The Post Office at Aylesbury is closed from 6th instant. a TONEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
