Mails close at the Chief Post Office for tho following places (subject te tho necessary alterations) as under SATURDAY, JULY 3. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not bo used for this mail. MONDAY, JOLT 5. For Wanganui and Westport, per St. Kilda, at 9.50 a.m. ; late ffe letters, 10.10 a.m. ; guard’s van. 10. so a.m, train. WEDNESDAY, JULY 7. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Rotomahona. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on July 17. and will bo due in London on August 31. Notice.—The post office at Springbank will be re-opened from 28th Juno, 1880. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, leaving Auckland on July 15th. SYDNEY J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
