The fog yesterday morning and on Wednesday night was most dense, so much so that the s,s. Hawea had to anchor in the fairway for an hour or so, to admit of it clearing off a little, before coming into the inner harbor. Captain Kennedy -imported that it extended for a considerable distance along the coast to the northward. The New Zealand Shipping Company yesterday cleared for London the ship Gareloch, with a full cargo of wheat and oats. The departure of the s.s. Grafton for the West Coast is put off until to-morrow, that steamer not having arrived yet from Oamara, from which port she is fully due. The delay in her arrival is no doubt owing to the heavy weather which has prevailed on the coast the last day or two and the very thick fogs. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington. July 1.
