Mails close at tho Chief Post Offica for tho following plaoos (subjoct to the necessary alterations) as under: — FRIDAY. JUNE 25. For Northern ports and Australian Colonies, via Sydney, per Wakatipu, at 3.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.25 p.m.; guard's van, 3.55 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Tui, at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.15 p.m.; guard's van, 6.30 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Rotoaiahana, at 5 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.15 p.m.; guard's van, 6.30 p.m. train. TUESDAY, JUNE 29. For Otago and Australian Colonio3, per Ringarooma. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (far specially addressed correspondence only), will bo closed at Christchnrch on July Ist, and will be due in London on August 2lßt. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Ohristchutoh on July 17, and will be due in London on August 31.
