Mails olose at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as nuiW: — WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23. For Australian Colonies, per express train (to connect with s.s. Te Anau at Port Chalmers), at 7.30 a.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 24. For Akaroa, per Taiaroa. For Northern ports, per Botomahana. FRIDAY, JUNE 25. For Northern ports and Australian Colonies, via Sydney, for Wakatipu. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), will be closed at Christchurch on July Ist, and will be due in London on August 21st. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on July 17, and will be due in London on August 31. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
