The match between the Australians and Dublin University team was continued to-day. The attendance of the public was large, and the weather very fine throughout tho day. The Homo team, in their first innings, wore all disposed of for 98 runs. The Austi'aliaus then went in for their second innings, and when tho stumps were drawn, had lost six wickets for 132 runs, Banuerman being caught out for 69 runs.

June 19. The cricket match, Australians versus eighteen of the Dublin University, was concluded to-day. The Australians continued their second innings, which closed for 156 runs. The Dublin team then went in, and when the stumps were drawn had lost seven wickets for 86 runs. The match is therefore drawn, but in favor of the Australians. The weather was showery all day, and the play was frequently interrupted by the rain. Local OptionIn the House of Commons to-day Sir Wilfred Lawson introduced a series of resolutions re Local Option and Licensing. The Right Hon W. E. Gladstone strongly opposed the same, but the House agreed to the resolutions.
