PROPERTY SALE.
On Saturday last Messrs H. Mat? on and Co. held a sale of properties at their rooms, Cashel street. The attendance was not so numerous as usual. Biddings were anything but up to tte mark, and lacked spirit. Several lots were pasfced in, finding no buyers. However, sixteen quarter-acre sections on tho Lincoln road, opposite Mr Twigger's, and adjoining Mr j'Anson's property, found buyers—No. 1, a corner section, fetched .£152 10s ; No. 2, £27 10s; No. 3, .£l2O ; and Nos. 4, 5. and 6, fronting on Edenbridge street, realised .£7O each.
