The Select Committee of the House of Commons, which was appointed to further consider tho question which arose through Mr Bradlaugh’s refusal to take the oath, has presented its report to Parliament. Tho Committee recommends that Mr Bradlaugh should he allowed to make an affirmation in place of the customary oath. June 17. Greece and Turkey. King George 1., of Greece, who is now on a visit to England, was to-day, presented with the freedom of the city of London. H.R.H. the Prince of Wales performed the ceremony of presentation.
