Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under TUESDAY, JUNE 15. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Tararua, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard’s ran, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wellington, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16. For Kaifcoura, per Tui, at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m.; guard’s van, 5.25 p.m. train. THURSDAY, JUNE 17. For Australian colonies, per express train to Port Chalmers (to connect with a.a. Tararua) at 7.30 a.m. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies via Sydney, per -Rotorua.
