Mails olobo at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — WEDN3EDAY, JUNE 2. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Gr*fton, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. THUBSDaY, JUNE 3. For Northern Ports of B ew Zealand and Australian Colonies, via Sydney, per Ringarooina, at 3.15 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.25 p.m. ; guard's van, 3.55 p.m. train. Tho next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindiiii (fer correspondence specially addressed only), will be closed at Christchnrch on Juno 3rd, at 7 a.m., and will bo due in London on July 24tb. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Sau Francisco, will be closed at Christchu ch on June 19 and will be due in London on August 3. The Post Offices at Christchnrch and Lyttelton will bo open eveiy Saturday night, from half-past six until a quarter to eight o'clock, for the purpose of receiving Savings' Bank deposits only.
