Griffin, schooner. 48 tons, Bishop, for Auckland. Cuff and Graham, agents. The s.s. Taiaroa arrived this morning from Manukau, via way ports, and sails back to Wellington to-night. The Altoar, British barque, from Liverpool for Newcastle, New South Wales (railway material) which put into Cape Town on March 14th with bowsprit sprang, cau’ed by the shifting of the cargo, has been surveyed, and it was recommended that she should be taken into dock and discharge a portion of her cargo, when a further survey will be held. She is now in dock and has commenced discharging cargo. Tho s.s. Go-a-head, Captain Dicker, arrived on Thursday night from Cable Point. She leaves to-day for Wellington and Napier.
