CHRISTCHURCH. Satubdat, Mat 29. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq.] DatjuEßiTTfEss. John Downey was remanded to Lyttelton one week for medicsl treatment. A first offender was fined ss. Labcent.—Parker West, a colored man, was charged with stealing a pipe from G. W. Price, of the value of 2s. Remanded till Monday for production of witnesses.

LYTTELTON. Bathed at. Mat 29. [Before J. Bessick, Keq., B.M.] Yotrrro Labbikins. Two boys, named respectively North a-d Cogla, were brought up before his Worship, charged with entering the dwelling of one John Kirwin on Friday, and taking therefrom sundry articles. The offenders were in court for the first time, in consideration of which and their youth the Bench administered a word or two of advice to them, and let them go, the parents undertaking to give them “ Hail Columbia.”
