Hawea arrived alongside the wharf this morning, at 9.30 a.m., from North. The brigantine Seagull went into Port Chalmers last Monday to load Btone for here. The Union; Company's s.s. Taiaroa, Captain Pietersen, arrived j esterday from Port Chalmers, and sailed North in the evening. _ _ The Union Company's s.s. Wakatipu, Captain Wheeler, arrived from Sydnoy and Wellington yesterday, having left the first-named port May 12th, and Wellington at 4.15 p.m. on Tuesday. She sailed for Dunedin last evening. The ship Earl Granville was towed to the stream yesterday. Shippers by her ar.=> requested to present bills of lading not later than to-day to the New Zealand Shipping Company and pass entries. , . The Dounecastle, barque, 887 tons. Captain Bridgeman; left Sydney May 10th for Lyttelton via Newcastle. . The Ada C. Owen, Mr J. B. Way, agent, is en the berth for Auckland direct.
