A bottle has been found on the beach at Portland containing a paper, signed John Webster, and dated February 23rd 1880, stating that the ship Locksley Hall (sic) was wrecked on the Crozets and that all on board perished except three, who are destitute, and are sub. sisting on fish. Doubts are generally expressed as to the authenticity of th a message. SYDNEY, May 7. Shipping. Arrived —Wakatipu, from New Zealand. The British QueenThe barque British Queen, which left Charente on January 20th for Melbourne, put in at the Cape, owing to the crew having mutinied and broached the cargo. ADELAIDE, May 7.
