[beuteh’s telegrams.] LONDON, April 28. Wool SalesAt the wool sales to-day 11,300 bales were offered, making a total of 81,500 bales catalogued since the opening. The demand for crossbreds was rather weaker, and common to medium qualities are -^d to Id lower. The New Ministry. The Hon. John Bright has been appointed Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the office which ho hold in Mr Gladstone’s last Administration. April 29. The Right Hon. J. G. Dodson has been appointed President of the Local Government Board, with a seat in the Cabinet. The following appointments have also been made—Mr Joseph Chamberlain, President of the Board of Trade; Mr Grant Duff, Under Secretary for the Colonies; Mr Anthony Mundella, YicePresident of the Committee of the Council on Education ; Sir Henry Jamos. Attorney-General; Mr Henry Fawcett, Postmasi er-General.
