THE CHRISTCHURCH DEBATING SOCIETY.

The opening meeting was held in Mr Gee’s schoolroom, Worcester street, on E rid ay evening last, the President, Mr B. C. J. Stevens, in the chair. A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the proceedings. At the next meeting, on May 7th, Mr Spackman will introduce the subject of “ Manhood Suffrage as applicable to New Zealand.”
