Arrived—Columbia, schooner, from Napier._ The barque Wellington, which put in in distress, is an American built vessel of 518 tons, ownsd by Messrs M'Kenzie and Rosa, Auckland, who purchased her some years ago from an Island trader, who brought her from Samoa, where she put in leaky while on the voyage from Newcastle to San Francisco, and was there condemned. Considerable repairs were subsequently made, and the vessel has made several trips both to the South and Australia, and Captain M'Kenzie who formerly commanded her says she did not then leak more in heavy than in ordinary weather. The probable cause of the leak is due to the recent alterations. A survey will be held upon her. In all probability she will be docked. Wellington, April 21.
