THE LYNCH BELLRINGERS.

This popular travelling company gave the first of their excellent entertainments in the Aca; emy of Music, last night. In addition to their specially as bellringers, the company includes «p rxsellent baritone singer in the person of Mr Alfred Sanfley, and a more than average good ventriloquist in the person of Mr O. Lyndhuret. The campanologians, to the number of five, are all members of the Lynch family, to whom the “ Sweet chiming bells ” are as familiar as “ Household Words.” The company appeared in a capital programme last night, there being a tendency to encore mmy of tho items. The music of the bells was varied, passing from sentimental and plaintive strains to lively airs, which were rendered with equal skill. Mr Lyndhurst invested his puppets with the power of speech quite as humorously and cleverly as any of his predecessors in this city. The first pan, finished with a comic Chinese song and dance by Messrs H. R. and W. Lynch. The second part included a naval hornpipe by Messrs W. Lynch and Lyndburst, which was loudly applauded. The performance terminated with a laughable farce by Harry and Willie Lynch and Mr Santley. This evening the same programme will be repeated. On Saturday there will bo a matinee for schools and families.
