Mails close at tho hiof Post Office for tho following places (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under: — WEDNESDAY, APEIL 21. For Australian Colonies, per ’express train (to connect with s.s. Kotorua at Port Chalmers), at 7.30 a.m. . For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard’s van. 2,40 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Rangatira, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, APRIL 22. For Chatham Islands, per IslandSLily. SATURDAY, APEIL 24. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, China, Japan, &c. (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea. as follows : Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m. Late fee letters, at 7 p.m. Books and newspapers, at 5.30 p.m. Registered letters, at 4.30 p.m. Money orders, at 4 p.m. Guard’s van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will bo due in Loudon on June Bth.
