The service to Australia will be continued as usual, to connect with the Chinese service. _ A cable will shortly he laid to Hong Kong, Manilla, and Batavia Special duties of 2 per cent, on imports, 1 par cent, on exports, and 20 corns per ton on all vessels have been levied at Manilla to raise funds for the new harbor works. The areas of both Western and South Australia are la-ger than that of Queensland. The respective areas are: —Western Australia, 026,000,000 acres; South Australia, 585,000,000 acres; Queensland, 431,000,000 acres.
