D : .do, schooner, 53 tons, Johnson, for Foxton. Cuff and Graham, agents. The Star of Tndia, Captain 800. Failed on Saturday afternoon for London with a fall cargo of grain. The Stracathro will now load up with gram rapidly, she being clear of her ballast and pig iron. It is expected the will finish by Wednesday. . The Union Steamship Company s s.s. Taiaroa, Captain Pietersrn, arrived on Saturday from Wellington, Nelson, and Picton, and sailed back for the same ports. The British Empire wanted a fow loads more of grain on Saturday to complete her cargo. It i 3 est : mated she will take 2000 tons, the largest cargo loaded at the wharf by any vessel despatched from this port. The following vessels were at the wharves last night: Padishah. Palala, British Empire, Coriolanns, Stracathro, Alastor; No. 3, Dumfriesshire, Ethel; No. 4, Nebo ; No. 5, Buttermere, Prince Alfred ; No. 6, Magellan, Island Lily ; No. 7, Wild Wave, Annie Hill. The Alastor is taking in wheat and discharging ballast. The Palala broke bulk on Saturday. Shois to sail on the Ist pros, by which time it is purposed she will have discharged her present large cargo, and bo a iull ship for home. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, April 19. The Te Anau left Melbourne at 9.30 p.m. on the 13th. arrived at Hobarfc Town at 2.30 p.m. of the 15th, left at 9.30 p.m. She experienced fine weather till her arrival at 7 a.m. to-day. She sails at 5 p.m. for Danndin. Passengers from Melbourne—Saloon, forlthe Bluff, the Simonsen, Frolique tronpi (fifteen), Col. Wiggins. Messrs Hamilton, Watkins, Watage, Miss Stock; three steerage passengers and 100 tons of cargo. For Dunedin — saloon: Messrs Rattray, Statham, Mrs Boskell, Mr Carrick, Miss Jardine, Mrs Jamea Henty and throe children, Wells and Bristow, Miss Z Briscoe, Messrs Shaw and Mcßae, and fifteen steerage and 260 tons of cargo. For Lyttalton—Messrs Brown, Donald, and five steerage and 1-8 tons of cargo. For Wellington—Mr and Mrs Babbage, servant and family, Mr Quainfcel, two steerage, and 110 tons of cargo. For Auckland —Judgo Wilson and seven steerage. From Hobart Town to Dnnedin —Mr »nd Miss Dun nand Mr Webb. For Lyttelton—Messrs Pksse, Crisp, and Dickey. For Wellington Mr, Mrs, Miss, and Master Watkins.
