Tho following is a comparative return of the quantity and value of gold entered for duty for exportation from New Zealand for the quarter ended March 31st, 1880: — District. Quantity. Value. Oz. £ Auckland 11,787 47,403 MarlborouKh 215 850 Nelson 1,096 4,129 West Coast 33,615 134,426 Otago 32,589 131,400 79,302 318,208 For the corresponding quarter of 1879 the quantity wa5 —74,7000 z,, and tho value £297,493.
