AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
The statistics for the counties of Geraldine and Waimate have now been issued. Those for Ashley, Akaroa, Selwyn, and Ashburton have alread appeared in our columns. The yield for Geraldine was as follows : —075,256 bushels wheat, 1,363,786 bushels oats, and 178,590 bushels barley ; potatoes, 2869 tons. For Waimate the yield in bushels was — Wheat, 804,189; oats, 1,023,095 ; barley, 87,129 ; potatoes, 1483 tons. The total yield for the provincial district for the years 1876, 1877, 1878, 1879, and 1880 was as follows :
