MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the t hiof Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — THURSDAY, APRIL 15.
For Akaroa and Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.15 am ; late fee loiters, 11.25 a m.; guard’s van, 12 10 p.m train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 3 15 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.25 p.m.; guard,a van, 3.55 p.m. train.
The next mail for tho United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on April 24th, and will be due in Loudon on Juno Bth.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for correspondence specially addressed) will be closed at Christchurch on May 6th, and will be due in London on June 26th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
