MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the t.hief Peat Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under WEDNESDAY. APRIL 14. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Rotomahana, at 4.20 p.m ; lato fee letters, 4.35 p.m.; guard’s van, 5.25 p m. train. THURSDAY, APRIL 15. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 1.50 p.m.; late foe letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard,g ran, 2.40 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on April 24th, and will be due in London on Juno Bth. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for correspondence specially addressed) will be closed at Christchurch on May Gth, and will he duo in London on June 26th. Notice—On and after April 15th the Post-office at Wuikari will be open as a Money Order and Savings Bank office. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
