The steamers Penguin and Wanaka arrived to-day, and the s s. Tui. . A brigantine from the North was signalled when onr express left Port. The New Zealand Shipping Company a ship Waimate sailed for London yesterday afternoon, proceeding direct from the pier to sea. Her cargo of Canterbury produce is estimated at .£33,000 value, and includes a quantity of wool. She also has thirty passengers. The ship was in unexceptionable trim, and left the pier a credit to the line to which she belongs. The barque Bolls, hence, reached Newcastle on March 27th, and the Examiner on the 28th, after a smart run of eleven days.
