The average price for the six yearling colts by Traducer, from the imported English mares, was a shade over 441 gs. Immediately after the conclusion of the Middle Park sale Mr Newton mounted the nostrum, and offered for sale, on behalf of the trustees of the late J. W. Mallock, Esq., the whole of his blood stock, but the bidding was was so slack that the greater part of them were withdrawn from sale until a more favorable opportunity. The only lots sold were the imported horse Anteros, which was knocked down to Mr H. Redwood, a perfect bargain at 200 gs ; and Bribery’s dam Ethelred, to Mr H. Goodman, at 20gs. Gossip, Tresdeuoe, Sludge, and Fancy were severally put up, but failing to el’cit the reserve price, were passed in. It is understood that the lot will be shortly offered again, and in the meantime intending purchasers can communicate with Messrs. Ford and Newton.
