LAND SALE
Messrs Matson and Ob. ta-day sold by public auction several veiy valuable properties. Lot 1 consisted of part of town sections Nos. 903 and 905, at the corner of Manchester and Oashel streets, upon which there stands the warehouse occupied by Messrs Jameson Bros. It is subject to a lease from 1853 for fifty years, at a ground rent of £157 10s. This lot wai bought for Mr E. Westenra by Mr C. Clark for £2275. Lot 2 consisted of part of town sections 903 and 905, at the corner of Manchester street and Bedford Bow, upon which is erected a two-storied building, sub-jest to a lease of fifty years from the 24th of June, at a ground rent of £63. This lot was bought by Mr &. Roberts, the present lessee, for £llOO. The sale was proceeding when wo went to press.
