KOWAI BIBLE CLUB.
The match which was to have been fired on Saturday between the Amberley aad Sefton contingents of this club did not take place, owing to the inclement weather, which prevented the majority of the Amberley team turning up. Rather than disappoint those who had put in an appearance, sides were chosen by the captains of the two contingents, and a match was fired at the 200 and 400 yards’ ranges, five shots at each. Notwithstanding the rain, which fell very heavily at times, and the peculiar wind, some very fair shooting was made, notably that of Cameron, who made 18 at each range, and the two captains at 200 yards who, with the small bull’seye, made 20 and 19 respectively. The scores were as follows :
