Pioneer Bicycle Club.—A general meeting of the members of the above elub was held last night at the Commeroial Hotel, when there was a good attendance. Mr T. S« irrell was elected aa sub-captain, andjltessrs Alton and Clarke as committeemen. It was determined to enforce the by-law respecting footpath riding, and carrying lamps and bells. Mr E. W. Fox was elected a member of the club. It was decided to hold the championship races of the club of five and of twenty miles, on the 17th April in Hagley Park, subject to permission; prizes to be decided hereafter. The entrance fee for each race was fixed at ss. The runs for the future were fixed as follows: —March 20th, Tai Tapu ; 27th, Kaiapoi • April 3rd, Sumner; 10th, Taldhuntj 17th, Em?3j 21th, Probbleton.
