She was yesterday discharging ballast to the permanent way department. The Uninn Steamship Company's s.s. Hawea, which was exp cted to arrive here to-day from "Wellirtcton, will not be here until to-morrow. She sails on Monday for Port Chalmers. The New Zealand Shipping Company yesterday cleared the ship Bruce for London. She has a full cargo, principally of grain valued at .£2O 500. and will take her departure to-day. The Western Monarch, ship, to load for London under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, is to be berthed this morning at No. 3 Wharf, the Tris at No. 5, and the Magellan at the Tunnel Wharf.
