We have subjected a sample of_ the above named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, whioh are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of Bolid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Hassall, M.D., Author of " Food and its Adulteration," Otto Eeehir, F.S.C., Publio Analyst. WM. JOHNSON'S BEPOET. Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd July, 1677. Henri J. Hart, Esq. Sir, —I have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been snb mitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the finest sample of schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pore fragrant odor, and is absolutely frae from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities a schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, an 1 in this respect compares favorably with other -'mplea o&ered for sale. It may be advised as equally soitable for medical or economic purposes.—l have the honor to be, &o„ (Signed) Wm, Johnson, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This pare medical spirit, snperior to any in the market, and lower in price, is offered to the public under the full conviction that it will supersede all others now in use.
