PARIS, March 9. French Education Bill. In the French Senate to-day Jules Ferry's Education Bill was under discussion. The clause prohibiting education by Jesuits was rejected, after a lengthy debate had taken place on the subject. LONDON, March 10. Irish Affairs. The Royal Commission has approved o£ the proposal that the funds of the Church surplus should be applied to the purchase of waste lands in Ireland. MAURITIUS, February 26. The Sugar MarketWhites, £34 ; half yellews, £32. Th« crop prospects are favorable. Freights are high, an£ tonnage scarce.
