The barqne Examiner, Captain Scoullar, arrived yesterday from Newcastle with coal for Mr C. W. Turner. The run down was made in twelve days, and the Examiner thus returns the winner of the round trip race between her and the Elizabeth. Tt« Magellan yesterday arrived from Newr-aatle after a passage of seventeen days, prolonged br easterly weather. She is commanded by Captain Arnaud, who has visited the port on two or three occasions as master of the Arro»ante. Her cirgo consists of coal consigned to Mr C. W. Turner, and it is probable the vossel will load here.
