There was a better attendance than on either of the previous days, and the racing throughout was good. The Newmarket Handicap was won by Aspen, with Japan second, and His Lordship third. The finish was very close. The Town Plato was won by Columbus. KING GEORGE’S SOUND, March 6. The Bangalore. The P. and O. Company’s steamer Bangalore, with the inward Suez mails j has arrived hero. She has measles aboard, and one death occurred on the passage. ADELAIDE, March 6. The Grain MarketWheat is quoted to-day at 4s 9d. The market for breadstuffs is quiet. Town flour is worth £ll to £ll 5s ; country brands, £lO 10s to £lO 15s.
