MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Thuebday, Maech 4. IBefore G. D. Hellish, Esq., R.M.,and J. P. Jameson, Esq., J-P-Dbttnk and Disced belt. —A first offender was fined ss. LekACT.—Susannah Dodsworth, charged with lunacy through drink, was remanded four days for medical treatment, Wxek Dksbetiok. Michael Cuddy, charged with learing his wife without the means of support, was sentenced to hard labor for fourteen days. All he had_ contributed was 30s in seven weeks, and _his Worship said ho would make no distinction in his cose from other similar neglectful husbands.
