For the Steeplechase Lone Hand, Thilo, Robin Hood, and Scamp faced the starter. The last was a warm favorite. At the third hurdle Robin Hood, who was last, slipped and fell. At the water jump Lone Hand baulked three times, and when he negotiated it, was clean out of the race, pulling up. Scamp cantered the rest of the way, and won just as he liked, Robin Hood being second. Time, 7min. 45 sec. EOBBTTBY HANDICAP. Foul Play 1 Chancellor... ... ... ... 2 Libeller 3 Sir the Queen's Plate, Yolunteer and Mala ran a dead neat.
