DUNEDIN RACES. [By Telegraph.! Second Day—Fbiday, Fbbbuabt 27. The weather is beautifully fine. Two thousand persons were on the course when tho rece started. The Governor and Lady were present. The proceedings opened with the Hurdle Race, for which eight started. Robin Hood fell at the second hurdle, throwing his rider; Lone Hand baulked at the third hurdle, putting him clean out of it. A good race ensued between Scamp and Thilo for an entire round, but in the straight run home the latter was challenged and displaced by Alice Grey, who won by a good length. Foul Play having a walk over for the big handicap, the'stewards arranged in its place a Steward's Handicap of 108 sovs, for whioh the following accepted :—Titania Bst, Longlands; 83t, Luna 7st 61b, On Dit 7st, Atlantic 6st 51b.
