DUNEDIN BACE3. [By Telegraph. 1 DUNEDIN, February 26. The weather is very dull, owing to a heavy fog hanging over the hills, but there is little likelihood of rain. The Governor and Lady Robinson arrived on the course early, being received by the officers of the club and conducted to a portion of the stand reserved for them. Natator was scratched for the Cup early this morning. The two totalisatora at work were fairly patronised. The principal one, which was to have been stationed in a paddock, did not put in an appearance. The first event started at one punctually, 2000 persons being on the course. As usual, the sand hills at the back of the course were extensively patronised. FBBB HANDICAP. Lana ... ... ... ... 1 On Dit 2 Teta ... ... 3 The race was won by a nose, after a capital contest.
