CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH TEA MEETING.

The anniversary tea meeting of the Trinity Congregational Church took place on Tuesday in the schoolroom, Manchester street. A large number of the congregation and friends were present. At the termination of the tea an adjournment was made to the Church when a public meeting was held in recognition of the newly settled pastor, the Rev. Henry "WilUama. Both the church and schoolroom were tastefully decorated with flowers and evergreens by the ladies of the congregation, the latter also furnishing the tea tables on a liberal scale. The chair at the public meeting was taken by Mr John Inglis, and addresses were delivered by the Revs. Dr. Roseby, W. J. Habens, B. J. Hallowes, J. Elmslie, Reid, and Dallaston. At intervals during the evening a number of hymns and anthems were sung by the choir. "Votes of thanks being passed to the chairman, the ladies, and the choir, the meeting terminated with the benediction.
