Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, FEB. 21. For Akaroa and Otago, per Hawea, at 11.25 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.35 a.m ; guard’s van, 12 10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 6 p.m. For Kaikoura, per Huia, at 6 p.m. The guard’s van must not bo nsed for mails per Wanaka and Hnia. TUESDAY, FEB. 24. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Rotomahana. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on February 28th, and will be duo in London on April 13th.
