Passengers —Messrs Blatchford and Wright, Messrs Dovan, Fitzgerald, and Morass. Wanganui, ss., 175 tons, Bayldon, from Wellington. J. M. Heywoodand Co., agents. Ing'ewood, 1077 tons, Brooklebank, from Aaekland. New Zealand Shipping Company, agents. Cleared —February IS. Anthoas, brigantine, 133 tons, Mur.n, for Qreymouth. Master, agent. Sailed—February 13. Sea Bird, brigantine, 155 tons, Saith, for Hokianga. Master, agent. The brigantine Flirt, Captain McDermoid, pnt in here windbound yesterday, bound from Auckland to Timaru, with 65,000 ft. timber and 20 tons drain pipes. The vessel made rather a remarkable passage, leaving Auckland but five days and a half ago. She started in the face of an easterly gale on February 11th at 10 p.m., and made round the North Cape, clearing it •when twenty-four hours out. Twelve hours later she was off Kaipara Harbor, aud on the third day out was off Wellington. On Sunday made Kaikoura, coming down with a N.W. galo behind her. Since Sunday light baffling winds were experienced. She was to sail for her destination last night. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Port Chalmers, February 18.
