[eeutee’s telegrams.] SYDNEY, February 14. New Zealand LaurelsAt the Exhibition the following first prizes were awarded :—Wheat, Mr McGill, of Otago. Oats, Mr Cunningham, of Christchurch, and Mr Meek, of Oamaru. Barley, Mr Harley, of Nelson. The judges give the palm to New Zealand malting barley and oats, and to Adelaide for wheat. Mr Andrew, of Nelson, got a second prize for hops, and Mr Strong, of Invercargill, a third for coffee. Messrs Trent, of Christchurch, obtained a second for popper. Messrs MacDonald and Miller, of Dunedin, received a first for bacon, and Mr Blake, of Picton, obtained a like honor. Mr Sheedy, of Dunedin, got a second for hams. ADELAIDE, February 14. The Markets. Wheat, 4s 8d per bushel; flour, £lO 10s to £ll per ton. Market firm at these quotations.
