ST. MICHAEL’S CHORAL SOCIETY.

The concert given last night by the members of the St. Michael’s Choral Society was very fairly attended. The programme contained songs by Mrs Palairet and Mias A. Taylor, Messrs Izard and Appleby. The part songs, always one of the most attractive features of these concerts, were contributed by the Orpheus Glee Union, and last, though not least, in merit were the solos on the concertina by Miss L. Taylor, and the concerto, for piano and cornet, by Messrs Landergan and Coombes. The encores were numerous, and the efforts of the society were thoroughly appreciated.
