PIONEER BICYCLE CLUB.
The committee of the above club held a special meeting last night, to settle details of the races to be held on the2Bthinst. The president, Mr E. O. J. Stevens, was in the chair. Present—Messrs E. O. Farr (captain), Hobday, Gough, Dumaresq, Searell, and Applegate (hon. sec.). Particulars of the races and prizes are to be advertised on Monday. Correspondence was read from the secretary of the Dunedin Bicycle Club, stating that the club held their annual meeting on the 19th January, and that it was their intention to send a representative to compete at the races. The secretary was instructed to acknowledge receipt and supply the desired information, and state that any New Zealand Bicycle Club member would bo eligible to compete in all club races on payment of the race entrance fee. A committee meeting will be held on the 26th instant, to open entries and settle handicaps. An unanimous vote of thanks was passed to tho chairman.
